Why they suck

A lot of guys do not want o grow up because the process to growing up means thinking for yourself.

My suggestions to How guys always eventually become their fathers

I thought if a fathers tried to refrain from being overbearing and controlling of what there sons did, that maybe then the son could mature into a man distinguishable in his character from his father. I was wrong.

My solutions / alternatives to fellow ranters

Guys should look at their fathers as teachers and not idols. That would give them a vital sense on independence that would in turn give them the confidence to make desicions based on their own ideals. Especially when your father does not deserve nearly as much merit as you may think. If you don't have things in perspective, you will never be able to function independently.
