Why they suck

Just try signing up for an acct. Their usablity really sucks. The Captcha requires a degree in advanced code breaking. The user name has to have letters and numbers etc. Hey, I just want to leave a comment on a crap site- not hack into the Pentagon!

My suggestions to LiveJournalcom

try a course in web usablity and human factors....

My solutions / alternatives to fellow ranters

Dont bother- its too much trouble for the effort. Use a different system- they are sprouting my faster then social networks- wait, is this a Social Network? I have no clue because it doesnt work.
